About Petcious Dog Spa and Play
Langley’s boutique grooming spa and small dog daycare. Open since May 2024, built from the ground up for dogs who deserve more.
Langley’s boutique grooming spa and small dog daycare. Open since May 2024, built from the ground up for dogs who deserve more.
In early 2023, we started with an empty commercial unit and a clear vision: build a facility from the ground up, designed exclusively for small dogs. Not converted from an old salon. Not repurposed from a big-dog daycare. Purpose-built.
We chose rubber mat flooring because small paws slip on tile. We installed custom safety gates at every transition zone. We added automatic climate control and top-tier air purifiers to keep the environment comfortable year-round. Every grooming table, play area, and rest space was sized for dogs under 40 lbs.
When Petcious opened in May 2024, every surface and every detail had been designed with one question: is this right for a small dog? The result is a facility that our clients consistently describe as spotless, clean, and odor-free — even after a full day of daycare.
Our team includes Fear Free Certified Professionals and a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP), ensuring that every interaction — from grooming to training — is guided by science-based, low-stress handling.
Hundreds of families trust us with their dogs — and more than half come back again and again. That’s not marketing. That’s earned trust.

Petcious Dog Spa and Play opened its doors in May 2024. Boutique grooming and enrichment daycare, exclusively for small dogs.
Word started spreading. Regulars began referring friends and family, and our reviews told the story — parents praising the personalized attention, the calm environment, and how their once-shy pups now run in excited to see their daycare friends. That kind of trust isn’t built overnight.
