Double cleanse method — first bath removes dirt & oil, second bath uses one of our 6 premium shampoos and 3 conditioners, carefully selected for each pup’s coat and skin needs.
Blueberry facial, teeth brushing, nail grinding, anal glands expression, Hinoki aroma bath, CO₂ bath/shower, and daycare pop-in play (1–2 hours, grooming add-on only) — all designed to give pups an extra level of comfort and wellbeing.

Every appointment starts with a conversation. We’ll discuss your dog’s coat condition, any sensitivities, your preferred style, and maintenance needs. We ask questions before we groom — not after.
Photos are the clearest way to communicate your vision. Send them ahead or bring them in. Photos of dogs with a similar coat type to yours are most helpful — the same style looks different on different breeds.
Sometimes the desired style isn’t ideal for your dog’s coat health or current condition. We’ll always be upfront and suggest alternatives that achieve a similar look while keeping the coat healthy and manageable.

Poodles, Bichon Frise, Shih Tzu, Maltese, Yorkies, Doodles & Poodle mixes. These coats mat quickly without regular grooming.

Between grooms: Brush 3–4 times per week. Use a slicker brush and metal comb.
Without regular brushing, matting can develop quickly.
Pomeranians, Corgis, Spitz breeds, Chihuahuas (long-haired). Regular grooming prevents undercoat buildup.

It depends on coat type and condition. Bath & Blow Dry: 30–45 minutes. Bath & Tidy: 45 minutes to 1 hour. Deluxe Full Groom: 1.5 to 2 hours. We never rush — your dog gets one-on-one attention from start to finish.
Yes! A puppy’s first grooming experience shapes how they feel about grooming for life. We recommend starting after their second round of vaccinations, typically around 12–16 weeks.
Our Zen Hinoki Spa uses Japanese cypress wood aroma with near-infrared light therapy for deep relaxation. The Nagayu CO₂ Bath improves circulation and coat health with micro-bubbles. Both are exclusive to Petcious in Langley.
Curly & wavy coats (Poodles, Bichon, Shih Tzu): every 4–6 weeks. Double coats (Pomeranians, Corgis): every 6–8 weeks. Smooth coats (Chihuahuas, Dachshunds): every 8–12 weeks. We’ll recommend a custom schedule during your appointment.
Never. Every dog is hand-dried or fluff-dried with a low-heat dryer. It takes more time, but it’s gentler on sensitive skin and gives us control to ensure a perfect finish.
We require 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. Same-day cancellations or no-shows incur a 50% fee. Late arrivals (15+ minutes) may be charged a $15 fee. We respect your time and ask for the same in return.
